Low Head Wind Farm - Information Day

On Saturday, 1st September 2012, an Information Day for the Low Head Wind Farm was held in George Town.  In response to letter drops, posters and advertisements in the Tamar Times and Examiner newspapers, we welcomed between 100-200 people from around the region.

Several project team members were on hand, including the Director and Community Liaison from Low Head Wind Farm Pty Ltd, State Manager from Alstom, noise specialist from Marshall Day Acoustics, and Environmental and Planning Consultants from GHD.  Project information was on display to initiate discussion, along with some warm drinks and local treats.

We received some great feedback from our guests on community issues, and an overall majority support for the project.

If you were unable to attend our Information Day, or have a follow-up question you'd wish to discuss with us, please don't hesitate to contact our Community Liaison.
