Following the completion of several critical activities, a draft Low Head Wind Farm DPEMP was submitted to the Tasmanian EPA for their informal review. This step in the assessment process assists all parties with ensuring that the information provided is sufficient for public advertisement and agency assessment, and generally takes between 4-8 weeks. It is an opportunity to canvass the opinion of local, State and Commonwealth governments on the areas with which the proposal can be strengthened, and thereby support the efficient movement of this document through the greater assessment process.
Once the feedback is received, and one final field survey is undertaken in November, we will submit the final Low Head Wind Farm DPEMP by Christmas 2013. Given the nature of this project and the years of preparation, we anticipate project approval within the 2nd quarter of 2014.
